Paper accepted

A recent collaboration with researchers from the National Core for Neuroethics at the University of British Columbia, resulted in a paper that has just been accepted for publication in Frontiers in Human Neuroscience. The paper entitled “Reducing barriers to ethics in neuroscience”, studies the attitudes of researchers in Neuroscience towards ethic procedures in their field. A pre-print and exact reference of the paper will be made available shortly in the publication section of the website.

PhD Candidate

On Wednesday Dec 9, 2009, I passed my comprehensive exam and successfully defended my research proposal. I am now officially a PhD Candidate!

Vivien M Srivastava Career Mentoring Workshop for Graduate Students

I am sitting on the organizing committee for the 2010 Vivien M. Strivastava career mentoring workshop for graduate students. This workshop is designed to increase the participation and success of science graduate students in research, education and industry careers .

We are currently seeking ideas for topics to be covered in sessions. We are also looking for interesting speakers and session leaders. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to contact me.
